With that in mind, I thought an informational
series on AutoSurfs might be in order for those
who are not yet familiar with them.

Marketing Tip of The Day:

Welcome to The “Introduction to AutoSurf” Installment Series.

This is the first installation of your Intro to AutoSurf Series.

An AutoSurf is a website, or program if you will, where you may go and join as a member to advertise your website.

It works much like a common traffic exchange.

You go to the site, click on the “sign up” or “join” link, enter the info requested and depending upon the site you may or may not be required to validate or confirm your email address by going to your inbox and clicking on a link in an email they have sent you.

By now you have acquired the “username” and “password” you will need to log in. It is a good idea to save these in a safe place. I keep mine in an “AutoSurf” folder on my desktop, with a file for each individual AutoSurf. (Just right-click on your desk top to create these.)

Log in. The members area should be basically self-explanatory.

Just enter the URL of the site you wish to advertise. Some AutoSurf programs will let you “confirm” the site yourself. Some AutoSurf owners wish to approve each site by hand.

Then you will need to surf. This is how you will earn traffic to your site in return. Some AutoSurfs will grant you bonus credits when you sign up. Some AutoSurfs will require you to surf so many sites before your account is active.

After you are done surfing for the day, you must “allocate” your credits to your site, so your site will be put into rotation for others to view. Some, but very few AutoSurfs will allocate credits for you automatically.

Here is where an autosurf is a little different than a regular traffic exchange: pay an autosurf upgrade fees or membership dues (which are US tax deductable business expense) and then when you surf a certain predetermined amount of sites each day, you are paid for it. You get paid to advertise your own site! Well, OK, technically, you get paid to view the sites of others, just seeing if you were paying attention. ;)

(If you are in the US be sure to include any autosurf earnings in with your business income - Big Brother is probably watching!)

Most AutoSurfs accept e-gold as a payment method, if not only e-gold. If you do not already have an e-gold account, you can sign up for a free e-gold account here:

You will need an e-gold exchange service to fund your account.

While each person should really look at the list of e-gold money exchangers available (link can be found on the e-gold site) and decide which money maker has the best options and features for them, I can say I have seen it reported by more than one person on the forums that e forexgold offers excellent customer service. What I like about e forexgold is that they have a debit card available, which you can fund with your e-gold balance, at reasonable rates!

Once you are all set up, funded, and ready to upgrade, be sure to upgrade BEFORE you surf for the day. That way you will recieve your pay for as many surfing days as possible.

I as an autosurf program owner have difficulties to deal with.
Of course, we all do, however, the main difficulty peculiar to the
autosurf industry is to overcome the stigma placed upon the
industry from the old 12DailyPro/StormPay fiasco where the
autosurf program so well trusted and loved by many was
declared a ponzi.

This truly shocked and disappointed autosurfers world-wide.
There were a lot of autosurfs that were piggy-backed on or
rather had put some of their programs money into 12 Daily.
While their 12%/day seemed like a lot, it truly only worked
out to roughly 2.5%/day.

(12% X 12 days = 144% - 100% of your own money= 44%
profit total divided by 17 or 18 Days not 12 because of the
extra payment processing time they kept your money for.)

Back then there was a behind the scenes trading ground
between the payment processors that you could push money
around in all day long at 3% a pop, making 2.5%/day look
very legit to people in the know. Not necessarily, obviously.
Honesty is the key.

So, when the original 12DailyPro fell, it caused a dominoe effect.

There is nothing I can do about the previous 12DailyPro.
I did not cause it, I cannot control it. It is in the past and
it was what it was. Here is the only cure I have to offer
you: Understand that the behind the scenes trading ground
between payment processors I mentioned was mentioned
in the past tense, optimum word being “was”. It is no more.
The autosurfs that can truly offer that type of payment for
viewing websites today is virtually nonexistent.

I can tell you personally first hand that my autosurf,
Trader Mic, is NOT a ponzi. We absolutely do Not need new
money coming in to cover payment to earlier customers.
The Trader Mic business plan is sound, honest, and legal.
But be careful out there, most autosurfs still are ponzis
and do require new money to pay old customers. That
is the problem, the difficulty that I as a legitimate
autosurf owner must work to overcome.

So, here is how I am turning that difficulty into an
opportunity for both you and I:

Help, now there is an interesting concept.
Too much, too little, not the right kind.

Ever called a friend asking for help from
them personally, and the next thing you
know you have people you have not seen
for 20 years knocking on your door? I
have literally had this happen. It is a
very humbling experience. My best
advice to you is if this ever happens to
you, just cook. Literally, get out the
bacon, eggs, pancakes or go for a great
big pot of homemade soup with some
fresh baked bread or biscuits. Just
let them go wild all over your house.
They won’t go away until they are
satisfied, so you might as well be a
good host or hostess during the invade.

Sometimes you need help, and it’s
serious, and you need it now. I still
have family members I will not
speak to because they were not
there for us a few years ago when
myself and my son truly needed them.
People like that are only takers. You
are better off without them.

And then there is the help that makes
no sense! That’s when people think
they understand what you are dealing
with and step in to orchestrate for 2
minutes, the life that you have been
building since you have been alive and
will continue to build long after they
are gone away, and then walk away
feeling like they did their good deed
for the day. Just one of life’s minor
irritations, I guess.

You Tube, You Tube, YouTube,
all over the place. Since
Google bought them, and they
are to start paying their video
creators/uploaders from ad
revenue soon, and some major
players are having issues
broadcast all over TV news
programs, I’ve been bombarded.
How about you? I had
seen YouTube one to many
times without joining in. I
was just plain tired of being
left out and left behind I guess.

So, I made my first video blurb!
and got it up on YouTube!

I just decided to do it. Begin
at once, ready or not, is right.
I made by little video blurb with
no microphone! LOL. and no
camera! I Love It. Turn up your
volume and Check it out.

I put it together with the windows
movie maker that came with my
newest computer, pics I had
already saved to my computer
during the course of working on
other things, and free music I had
downloaded for myself in the
course of finding music for my
6 year old son’s new portable CD
player a few months ago. (The
messages from Trader Mic were
just made with Microsoft Word
and Paint programs.)

video is a technorati claim post,
proving to technorati that I own
this blog. You can remove it
after technorati has spidered it,
but I will leave mine for illustra-
tion purposes.

The link to the video right under
the video actually has a
Technorati tag I coded in. This
is really cool because now the
Technorati site will pick it up
in the searches done for the
keywords I chose for the video.
All of the videos on Technorati
come from You Tube.

These tags work with any kind of
link, just add rel=(quote
symbol)tag(end quote symbol).
Put in the actual symbols instead
of the parenthesis and written
out words. Put it after the end
quote symbol on your href url,
before the first forward arrow.
Then it will pick up whatever
wording you use between the
arrows, or the part that actually
shows up for your users as the
lettering of the hyperlink,
as keywords.

I tried to put a Technorati widget
on this blog to enable people to
add this blog to their Technorati
favorites, list other blogs that
have linked to this one, and
link to my Technorati profile.

It did not work. When I
previewed it, all I got was a
bunch of writing overlapping
itself. Looked terrible. It was
condensing each blog entry to
just the title I believe, but then
the rest was just added as an
overlapping layer on top. Can
anyone advise, does this widget
work with Blogger? Is there
something inside Blogger I
need to adjust? A certain place
inside the template I need to
paste the code? Anyone out
there who knows, your help
and kind constructive criticism
would be very much appreciated.
